An Islamic children's book all about making amends whenever you make mistakes!

Omar has taken something that doesn’t belong to him - a sticky piece of baklava! His mistake is following him around, even into his dreams. How will he make amends?

Snatched is a colourful and rich story about telling the truth, and erasing bad deeds by doing good deeds!

This story is based on the following hadith:

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "Be conscious of Allah wherever you are. Follow the bad deed with a good one to erase it, and engage others with beautiful character."

The beautiful and bright illustrations will catch your kids' attention, and they'll want to read this story again and again!

Kids love it!

Both my 5 and 6 year old love this story!!! My 6 year old gets bored easily but this book that keeps him interested. The pictures go so well with the story and we love cats. We couldn't be more pleased. Look forward to adding more reviews on the other books and hope to eventually collect them all.

Excellent book: brings back so many memories

So I grew up in Kuwait and this book reminds me so much of my childhood. The watchman, the cats, baklava and even my mother leaving for work in the morning with us and coming back around the same time in the afternoon. Very well written. My children ages 10, 6 and 3 love this book and want to read it over and over and then ask me to tell them my childhood stories.

A great lesson and story!

This book is perfection, from the illustrations, moral of the story about honesty and the creativity (the baklava storm and sticky syrup amuses us all)!

We love all the Ruqaya's Bookshelf books we own and will continue to purchase more of them! I like to think of all the books as the Islamic version and style of the Robert Munsch books I read growing up, awesome illustrations and funny stories except these books have fantastic morals as well!
